Live truth

"Quaere Verum,"
"to seek the truth,"
the motto of ISPE,
is to seek to the bottom of the truth
seeking the highest truth.

Ultimately, even in the infinity of science,
we may find that the nature of truth
is inseparable from the nature of life,
for can truth exist without those lives
that seek to wonder at it?

We seek a permanent truth
about all the impermanence we see -
that dance between order and chaos
so vivid to us in life -
so that despite ourselves
the seeming transience of life and cosmos
in the end may evoke
a permanent pathos and compassion,
a tireless interdependence
so infinite

that we might make each other
a universe of interdependence, offering,
of principle offering,
perhaps one priceless answer
to "what is truth?"
