I read the scripture letters
to read your heart.
When I read your letters
tears pour down.
I have nothing to protect me from emotions.
It is as though I were naked in intimacy:
you open the veil, the door, the doors
for me to explore the intimate village
of whole humanity.
Offering your pounding heart,
you offer an ocean
of courage
to explore and conquer anything,
as you have conquered me,
with compassion,
