The Web Poetry Corner - Pafu - Waves
Waves
by
Pafu
A splintered coalition,
Waves from far away
Cresting and crashing
Smoothing sand again.
Winds whip up the water
The ocean barely moves
Hurricanes above it
Slow currents below.
The wanderer is weary
Feet have worn the stone
No surprise to him when
Every road leads home.
Was this his volition
To finish on the beach?
Suddenly a senseless
Liberated beast.
NEXT?
Why don't you look at
The days of burning of fossil fuels
