The Web Poetry Corner - Pafu - To Nul
To Nul
by
Pafu
You don't have to go beyond
The road between work and home
Before you get what's going on.
We don't know what happened
While the best lay still asleep
Strangers came, sowing weeds.
Now think upon your words
Suppose not that you failed
Waves you made, on them sailed.
Upright again after the fall
Exhausted effort for the call
Still trying to recall at all.
Put a stop to nightmares too
Slowing to wish well to those
Who haven't been close to nul.
