The Web Poetry Corner - Pafu - Shout
Shout
by
Pafu
Come out children in the sun
The time for all to play has come
Come down from your wooden seats
Come out to run, laugh and leap.
The pencil's snoozing in a groove
The paper's flat as it can be
The books go back to their bindings
The classroom can go back to sleep.
The kids are outside playing rough
It may be play, but it is tough
Want to know what life's about?
Find a game where you can shout.
