The Web Poetry Corner - Pafu - She Wrote

She Wrote

by

Pafu

A cormorant was flying
A cloud was seen on high
A dove was in the foliage
A turtle crawled on by.

Turn around till dizzy
Far as you can count
Thumping out a rhythm
Bouncing bones about.

Yes we know the future
Surprises are in store
For the faithful servants
And the deadly bored.

Living in the spaces
Humming with the notes
Making all the gestures
That is all she wrote.
