The Web Poetry Corner - Pafu - Seven
Seven
by
Pafu
It's easy to ask why
Seven is so right
I agree with the question
But the answer is a lie.
There's been so much fabric
Woven round our lives
All those flags and fragments
Marked our clustered days.
Seven is the number
Of the saintly rolling dice
When he must be mustered
His uniform's disguise.
This came from an angel
That came from afar
To split a perfect circle
Use a seven pointed star.
ref:
I hear heels clicking
Hands that brush aside
I know where it's going
To take me up so high.
