The Web Poetry Corner - Pafu - Rhymes with Beans

Rhymes with Beans

by

Pafu

Beans and cornbread
Eat some and see
If that mighty mass
Moves on easily.

Cornstein's theory
Said: gas is produced
Applying a cycle
Of first in first out.

But life's not impressed
By predictions so
Experiment and none
Was the result, amigo.

Now his winkled brow
Cuts a furrow new
A better non believer
You'll not listen to.

The worm has churned
And chimed thru time
And his frame finally
Still rhymes with beans.
