The Web Poetry Corner - Pafu - Persig
Persig
by

How does ignorance persist
When knowledge laughs at it
How do they coexist
In the same inhabitant?
Did we not use the brain
Only the ignorant refrain
Thought when selfless
Ends the savage game.
This is then our story
Once we were so lowly
No applause or encores
For such a dreadful score.
Standing in the present
With this gift of awareness
All who want achieve it
And do so in this moment.
NEXT?
Why don't you look at
It’s like a picture perfect morning
