His legs are folded together
His hands lie in each other
His spine is straight and still.

This person sits in Meditation
There is now no past
There is nothing to resolve
No burden left to carry.

This person sits in meditation
There is now no future
There are no desires at all
There is no impulse or will.

This person sits in meditation
This body is no longer his
It is part of this world
It will die and disappear.

This person sits in meditation
These thoughts may stop now
The endless dream fantasy
Is no longer a distraction.

This person sits in meditation
There's nothing left to be
No grasping separate existence
There's no I, there's only it.
