The Web Poetry Corner - Pafu - Me in You

Me in You

by

Pafu

If I could just say a word
It would be one you've heard
Many times and also spoke
But maybe never came to know.

The word is service, for the One
Service for the One alone
All that we can say or do
Offered by the me in you.

Creation we have laid to waste
It's hardly now a better place
Unless we serve we will fade
Extinction means stupidity.

The master is one who serves
He knows that it's all there is
Childlike in a joyful trance
Heartbeats in a rhythmic dance.
