The Web Poetry Corner - Pafu - Love and Tenderness

Love and Tenderness

by

Pafu

It's a long and painful journey
From the cradle to the grave
For poor boys who never learn
To give love and tenderness.

A woman's love can change all that
She'll show you her sweet smile
But even after she is yours
Give her love and tenderness.

A daily dose of hugs and kisses
The prescription for the missus
It's really all that she needs
Lots of love and tenderness.

It costs you little, but it pays
Pounds for pennies, aye so lads
Make sure to fill her cup always
With your love and tenderness.

Love her and you'll satisfy
Your own desire to give
Honor her, the one you chose
Give her love and tenderness.
