Jamboree, the juice is running
Down the stove leg can't you see
Jam pot please keep on sloppin'
Let the poor boy lick for free.
That must be blackberry syrup
Missy's cooking it up hot
It'll sho'nuff burn yo' fingers
If you stick 'em in the pot.
This time tho' all that steam
Done pushed the lid away
This time all that jam is gon'
Get itself licked, yessiree.
