The Web Poetry Corner - Pafu - Hollow
Hollow
by
Pafu
History's forgotten
And tomorrow's play
The body, a statue
Has hollowed away.
The arrowlike spine
Launched from inside
What is, is found
With space all around.
Quiet, ignoramus
No more of your taunts
Think on these words
No more do you haunt.
But ever be careful
Always on alert
With calm eyes smiling
Where you once were.
An angel's wings
And hallowed head
Will bow when you sigh
The one breath inside.
