I went up on a high place,
Seeking the beauty of high places,
There I found it,
And rejoiced in It.

I came down from a high place
From the beauty of high places,
I came to the lowlands,
To lands that lie below.

There too there was beauty.
It was not the beauty of high places
Still it was beautiful
In its lowly way.
