The Web Poetry Corner - Pafu - Cotton Shucking

Cotton Shucking

by

Pafu

It's cotton shucking time
Generous was the vine
Stand we at the stead
Where the clothes are shed.

However did it ever
Get so complicated
Used to just hang there
Or hide behind some hair.

At last we're made one
Now that all's undone
Fumbling on this way
Gods and beasts are made.
