The Web Poetry Corner - Pafu - Both Sides
Both Sides
by
Pafu
Singing songs of bravery
All creation's here to see
Small or great as one can be.
After many foreign postings
Nothing is the balance won
A soldier scarred, limping on.
In the fight to survive
The victim was all illusion
Empty the crown of victory.
Still there must be a smile
For the son that comes home
Loving heart that greets his own.
Now in this quiet moment
Accept his sword and helmet
And say that he fought well.
Could it be the unknown
Passing from both sides the door
Stopped in the entrance way?
NEXT?
Why don't you look at
I Wonder
