The Web Poetry Corner - Neil Heron - Two Shoots Down

Two Shoots Down

by

Neil Heron

Steady pace my friend, move to be on time.Feet feel free tonight as Brooklyn finds a crime.Waves that break our shore I loved you when I left you Van Nuys out of time, calling shots that ring out like fire from frozen trees, dim my eyes and blank your pout.Need you want more love,Summer in my finger prints and lips so sweet I cannot kiss arms I never wrapped around nervous fingers on your hips.Hollow horses running as an east wind hits our shoes, two lovers lost on pebbles green eyes for true blues.
