The Web Poetry Corner - Neil Heron - Neon Train

Neon Train

by

Neil Heron

It was you I Saw
One time yes it was you

Your hair had streaks of blue
Your pretty face half hidden

From my town to yours
From your city to mine
A second just froze

Miss California with streaks of blue
Eyes so bright and brown
A neon train that took us
Through a forest out of town

Smile just a lttle
Your voice is all I hear
Tracks that trace a love song
With a gaze so crystal clear

NEXT?
Why don't you look at Wendouree
