The Web Poetry Corner - Mohammad Badri - YOUR EYES ARE TO BLAME
YOUR EYES ARE TO BLAME
by
Mohammad Badri
You seized my heart so softly
Your eyes are to blame
You portrayed my entity so vigorously
Your vicious heart is to blame
My time is running out so swiftly
Your noxious patience is to blame
Your journey lasted so long
Hopeless prediction of mine is to blame
Tear drops are falling like spring rain
Cold temper of love is to blame
Life's caravan left me behind
Elongation of night is to blame
Destination is altered fore to hind
Checkpoints of life are to blame
My faith lies in your hands ultimately
Harsh verdict of hanging judge is to blame!
