The Web Poetry Corner - Mohammad Badri - My Shattered Mirror
My Shattered Mirror
by
Mohammad Badri
This morning
I look at my face
In a mirror
My face was hidden
Behind numerous wrinkles
First I thought
There was a perplexity
With the mirror
So I smashed the mirror
It was busted in many pieces
I found me a perfect mirror
With a golden frame
Glanced at it
Observed my face repeatedly
Wrinkles were resembled
My shattered mirror
NEXT?
Why don't you look at
Masquerade
