As I waited for your
Arrival last night
My heart kept pounding
My stare at the entry
Remained focused
Without your charm
At the same corner
We met before
I shared my love story
With a quiet audience
A butterfly proved
Its honor to love
When it heard the opening
Portion of my love story
It self-cremated in a blaze
The candle burned out
In tearful eyes; died
While demonstrating the commitment
Of true lovers
Whereas, the morning breeze
Approached as the night
Faded away in admiration
Of sincere lovers
However, they all perished
I was left alone!
With my unfinished crushing
Love story
