The Web Poetry Corner - Meghan Peck - The Nightengale's Song

The Nightengale's Song

by

Meghan Peck

Please Miss.Nightengale,
Sing me a song,
What did you say,
Sing a song about a sunny day,
But young girl it is raining,
Yes I know but you can still sing me a song about a sunny day,
It would cheer me up,
Well maybe on a sunny day said the nightengale.
