Twilight Days

Waves echoing,
Upon the sand,
Sunlight peaking,
Over land,
Days of lazy,
Days so true,
Never hazy,
Always blue.

The sky,
Singing in the rain,
Rumbling slowly,
Rumbling proud,
Flashing memories,
Of a long August night,
From childhood dreams,
Into the twilight.
