Still Today

The pursuit,
Jumping Bull,
Cowboy boots,
Murder full,
To this farm,
Bullets hailed,
More than harm,
Justice failed.

Here begun,
Another end,
All this from,
Self-defend,
Someone’s home,
Still today,
All unknown,
Locked away.

Now dying,
Still feared,
All trying,
To be cleared,
Such a fight,
And to be,
What is right,
Leonard free.
