The Web Poetry Corner - Md Cooks - Sad Eyes Look Down
Sad Eyes Look Down
by
Md Cooks
Questions of days ruined,
Where white horses run a stray,
Tranquil by innocence,
Trampled by trust,
Lifted by lies,
Sacrificed for civility,
Garnished by pity.
Reflecting fear,
Cultivating hope,
Wisdom cherished,
Immune to labels,
Of religious,
And political faiths,
Constructed by time.
In a storm of dreams,
Sparring with seduction,
In a wave of disaster,
Refreshing a smile,
Of better days,
To the wisdom of innocence,
In the moment, of today.
