That visits you while you sleep?
Waking your heart,
To a moment once shared.

Can I kiss your hand,

Both as a lover and a friend?

Can I make you smile,

For some funny reason?

You put passion in my pain.

Not by choice, and no reason.

I put pain in your passion,

Why I know,

But don’t want to face.

Please, try and understand,
Why I write, these words I do.
