The Web Poetry Corner - Md Cooks - One Last Lie

One Last Lie

by

Md Cooks

I hurt from all sides,
From the pain,
I thought was passion,
I hurt from all lies,
That goes all around this room,
For your forgiveness,
Is just a mere escape.

Look at me,
See what I feel,
Look at me,
And spare one lie,
Look at me,
With those lying, honest eyes.

You spoke some words,
And caught my attention,
You wrote some rhymes,
And did not mention,
That your lying, honest eyes
Had no intention.

Look at me,
Say something real,
Look at me,
And tell me one last lie.
