The Web Poetry Corner - Md Cooks - Merely Words?

Merely Words?

by

Md Cooks

Words that rhyme from time to line,
Are sometimes words that lead us blind,
From life itself,
And within those lines,
That borders boundaries,
Where freedom may lie,
In life itself,
Or in others eyes.

Words that rhyme from line to line,
Are true to thought within our minds,
Where life itself often does find,
The peace it seeks,
And the dreams we dream,
The hurt it hides,
The emotions it binds,
Our souls with our minds.

Words that rhyme from line to time,
Are shadows of thoughts,
We hardly hear,
For history has spoken,
So many words,
In a tone that is wise,
To the present of the future.

Words that rhyme from time to time,
Will be words that apply,
A truth they seek,
No matter how vague,
The complexity of the scheme,
To the roots of its find.
