As bounty as the ocean depths,
And clearer then the Caribbean Sea,
From the waves that draw life within,
To a paradise no closer to shore,
Like the sailors life off at sea,
Ever so lonesome,
Ever so free.
They sail into a mid-day storm,
Without warning the sea has risen.
For fear they not know,
And fear never risen.
With each wave driven onboard,
This is the life they left for offshore.
They ride the waves into the night,
Where a calm of beauty has set in.
With the ocean moon lighting the sky,
A thought of home passes,
The dreams they have dreamt.
