The Web Poetry Corner - Md Cooks - A Stage

A Stage

by

Md Cooks

A stage was set,
No actors appeared.
Cameras rolling,
The writer feared.

A story was written,
Very few ever survive.
But like Spence and Kate,
A love truly came alive.

Humbled by words,
Inspired by choice.
Your eyes said the same,
From the love in your voice.

Now that it is known,
The actors appear,
On this stage,
The film of my life.
