If I could truly show my thanks,
With words I may write,
You may see and,
Feel my inner ways,
Of knowing how true you are.
Though these words may not capture,
The essence of your being,
Know me not for the wisdom of you,
Just as a reflection of a thought,
I wished to praise,
Celebrate, and signify
You.

From this world,
Sometimes hostile,
Sometimes sweet,
The beauty found
Of gifts from you,
Could only encourage,
Ease the pains,
And give thanks,
For the meaning,
You share.

Once again,
The celebration of life,
Born with your being,
I want to thank
And find your special place,
You belong to be.
