The Web Poetry Corner - McKenna Byrne - Crescendo
Crescendo
by
McKenna Byrne

Broke like a towering wave over you
In a crescendo of love.
All you saw were a few tears on my face
Like a few drops of salt water might remain
Left behind on the rocks of the shore.
