The Web Poetry Corner - Matthew Lake - Winter
Winter
by
Matthew Lake
Winter is cold,
Winter gets old.
Winter is fun,
Winter has just begun.
But why is Winter fun,
But why is Winter cold?
When we find the answer,
Winter will be old.
Sleigh riding is fun,
The day is bright.
But soon enough,
We go inside.
Snow melts to mush,
To make nasty slush.
The day has warmed up.
And now we know that,
When we toss our coats.
To exchange for shorts.
We know when our is up,
'Cause Winter goes to bed,
And spring wakes UP!!
