What A View, What A Life It Has Been

My life is now five decades long
It seems to have been only a few moments
The past has melted somehow into mist
The future is too far beyond my imagination
But, this moment I passionately enjoy
For it's this aspect of my life that I know
It is what has allowed me to breathe deeply
This breath as it comes and goes
is a reminder to me of the gift of life
What it has to offer and what I will learn
So, I sit here with a view
incredibly spectacular and panoramic
I am very grateful, humble, and blessed.
