Life's Tapestry

Travelling through my weaving of my life
threads that somehow intertwine
creating yarn that becomes fabric
the experiences, the transitions of life
that become the tapestry I call my own
are made up of dazzling and dull colours
lots of patches have been covered tears
but, the magnificence of the journey
ends, just as the tapestry wears thin
and its loose ends become shabby
but it’s not the shabbiness that matters
for to be real one must be hugged and loved
and work through the difficult things
to understand that the meaning of life
is about change, risks, dreams coming true
connections, success, not just suffering.
