History traces itself through whispering winds
they continue on their annual weather cycle
whether or not they change depends upon the leaders
every great nation, every great leader
says the same, I am here for our great nation
every great nation has fallen
why would it be any different in the 21st century
the arrogance, the brazen violence, the power manipulation
all lead to the same demise
wouldn't it be different it the mandates were turned around
and the lies were held to a minimum
and the leaders meant what they said
and the powers that be crumbled to their knees
with their corporate rapings of societies
and the environment would be allowed to heal its wounds.
