The Web Poetry Corner - Mango Tree - Haemoglobin

Haemoglobin

by

Mango Tree

Sleepy eyes, partially swollen
the treatment demands so much
my body is fighting
the chemicals bare heavy
especially upon the haemoglobin
limited oxygen immature red blood cells
slow down my systems
only twenty-two weeks left
hopefully, my body will make it.
