Grateful for the Moment

Mango Tree

It is a quiet morning
a few bird calls,
a quiet breeze
it bit overcast
clouds deciding which moment
would be the most opportune
to burst and drop rain to the earth
leaves are slightly moving
on the mango tree
it is a still moment in life
one to sit with, a pondering
no where to go, nothing to do
feeling the pulse of this rural life
and being grateful for the moment.
