Another Morning Rising

Today I felt better
the virus is being challenged
though is still exists in some degree
at least that's what I hear
I feel as if I am on my path to healing
that the side effects
even though they still exist have shifted
I'll wait to see, still 21 more weeks of treatment
I'm writing again which is great
Meanwhile, my soul-searching continues
the sitting with myself has been powerful
I have learned so much, I see more on the horizon
I am grateful that I am still alive, breathing
Another day, thank you, another morning rising.
