The Web Poetry Corner - M A Heathcote - Haiku

Haiku

by

M A Heathcote

I.
The lake freezes over.
A moorhen is marooned
Will the dog find his bone?

II.
The earthworm moves home.
Robin in a wheelbarrow,
His manure is sky bound.

III.
Neatly formed grasses...
emeralds in her eyes
bright red, charcoaled.

IV.
A crack of thunder
inside the graves mausoleum
magpies clattering...

V.
A crack of thunder
inside the graves mausoleum
magpies clattering...
