The Web Poetry Corner - M A Heathcote - Gift me the right

Gift me the right

by

M A Heathcote

Gift me the right
Gift me the night
Gift me the stars
In their orbital,
Celestial, light
Gift me their elemental,
Hot burning feldspars.

Gift me this good-night
Gift me an inner sight
Gift me optimism to see.
And profane,
At any bloodstain: cockfight.
Gift me her inane
Love, not nearly, weary.

Send her lapping. Sea...
Too help me write.
So my" SOS" lost decree.
Maybe, still my one destiny.
Gift me the right
Gift me the night
Gift me the stars
In all their orbital
Celestial, light
Gift me passions soulful
Quiet off_ all radars.

Gift me the hours
Gift me the minutes
The second devours.
Gift me the edits
The forfeit credits.
Gift me the gift that is candor
When two hearts purr
Like forlorn little kittens
One between crescendos of echoes
A blanket of pillows
He whitens she pardons
Legs artily, summons...
In due time, too murmur. She comes...
