Winters autumnal beauty the discreet

by

M A Heathcote

Winters autumnal beauty the discreet
Sensual as nature is she revealing
Her rainbow paint palette yet, azure
Gentle as calamine to my healing
I to her a courtier a Chaucer...

A philosopher and a lover...
With brush of mouth and kiss of pleasure
We hold good faith in a fool’s gold treasure!
Till "nought each" the other to, discover.

But wait... Truth near holds a breath near faint!
A wooded deer would sense the danger tense
Leap to love of life, abound any fence.
Passion and lust though have no restraint.

They’re are to tarried by the winds changing sheet
To see winters autumnal beauty the discreet.
