The Web Poetry Corner - M A Heathcote - Howling heart

Howling heart

by

M A Heathcote

Howling heart donít leave me
Donít deplete the light into darkness
Under cherished loving eyes
With an aching compromise
An aching promise!

Howling heart donít leave me
Donít let my sufferance suffer
The pangs of always
Dreaming of tomorrow_

Darling donít Keep the wildness guessing_
Because Passion is a mortal killer
Passion is a force thereís no stopping_
Passion is a tiger
Stalking inside of yeah!
And my love that hunger is a
All consuming fire
Oh, of my desire!

Howling heart donít leave me
Women in the dawn
Donít deny me!
Donít say let bygones be bygone
Because Iíll always be a howling
Like a wolf at your door.
If you donít treat me bad forevermore
I may not be that tiger
That all consuming fire
Burning in your desire
Howling at your door
Howling at your door
Howling at your door
Forever more!
