The Web Poetry Corner - M A Heathcote - Blending our melody...

Blending our melody...

by

M A Heathcote

Blending our melody...
Our music in rhapsody
Is a giftójust heavenly?
And you, so wantonly...
And oh so womanly...
Caress me fathomlessly, deeply.

Blending our melody...
Thereís never a bad word.
Tangents her kisses courtly
Havenít you, not heard?
Love is a song bird.
No need to be sung, coarsely.

Blending our melody...
Is so heavenly, Joyous
Oh, my love is a songstress
My love she is a real beauty
Hair of the darkest black
Easy, going, almost, laid-back.

Blending our melody...
This isnít The Great Gatsby
And I isnít an over-
Bearing dilettante...
But someone whoíll
Just always simply, love you.

Blending our melody...
Our music in rhapsody...
Body and soul, oh; so soulfully...
Itís truly never just aimlessly.

Blending our melody...
Our music in rhapsody...
Blending our melody...
Is so heavenly, Joyous
It could always be this heavenly,
Oh, my love, my songstress.
