The Web Poetry Corner - M A Heathcote - Avenge your tears

Avenge your tears

by

M A Heathcote

Avenge your tears
Donít let the years
Divide you
Heart and soul
Donít let the chill-blames of love
Divide you
From the warmth
Of the one
You love

Oh spread your wings
White as snow
Around me
Till I go
Until I know
That the coldness
Inside a heart of loneliness
Canít find me
Or confine me
In blindness
Without finding love

Avenge your tears
Donít let the years
Divide you
Heart and soul
Itís up to you now
Not to let it go
But to fight for what you know
Itís the desire in your heart and soul?
To forgive
Or to let go!
