The Web Poetry Corner - M A Heathcote - Who stars in our night?

Who stars in our night?

by

M A Heathcote

What hour of space
Covenants this day,
Dawning, Ever-Over
Nearer: further: away.

What fountains of air
Suck lungs to breathe
After autumns, care
Of a rootless, leaf.

What butterfly, moths
Can carry the light
Of a blinding-god,
Who stars in our night?
