The Web Poetry Corner - M A Heathcote - Waiting on all, you; have to say...

Waiting on all, you; have to say...

by

M A Heathcote

Soft ephemeral words of love;
I feel them floating, like downy
Feathery wings, on the wind:
"Each time we capture" them:
Our white wings dove
Into those whispering, eaves
Where we first kissed:
In a heaven above!

Oh hear the willows, yellow, leafs
Turning into rust
Blasting into dust
Falling into autumnís lust...

Oh, out stretch your arms
And express, warmly
Those gossamer words
In your heart to me
Those visual, thoughts
So pleasing to touch,
In your floating, swan
Like heart, Iím drowning
Waiting on all, you
Have to say...

Oh hear the young doe breathing!
And hear her old stage, snort
He maybe is aging...
But he isnít tort
Or cruel to her
And she only knows
Her love for him
Only grows
And grows...

Oh hear the willows, yellow, leafs
Turning into rust
Blasting into dust
Falling into autumnís lust...
