The Web Poetry Corner - M A Heathcote - Triangular

M A Heathcote

Life, death; the here ever after
This worlds jib, jibs, triangular!
The father, son and Holy Ghost
Desire, love and lust!
They are the obsequious...
Yearnings, burning, in us most;
We who are still only, superfluous...
Flagons drink the vessels flesh,
Blood and bone,
Each sail chastening, abstinence, home!
Hope, faith, and chastity
These are all the graces
Longed in us to, be
To dignify the trinity
The wave upon a timeless, sea
Triangular, in the three...
