The Web Poetry Corner - M A Heathcote - By the harp of the moon

By the harp of the moon

M A Heathcote

The moonlight is with you;
It leaves you aglow,
And glides in your footsteps;
Wherever you shall, go...

Like the heart of a mountain
Laced deep in the snow;
Your beauty has its thunder
In the heart of your soul:

So soft is its music
So still is its air
That the wonder of the magic
Was it; ever really, there?

"In thighs" unleavened, flour
By the harp of the moon;
That extracts a yeasts fire
In its fullest, bloom.
